On Saturday I photographed the wedding blessing of Anna and Robert. They actually got married in America in September but they came back to Anna’s home town for their second wedding celebration with all her family and friends and some of Robert’s family also flew over to join in the celebrations! The day started at Anna’s parents church Trinity Methodist Church. It was a really personal service held by the minister Anna grew up with. A lot of the organisation for the wedding was done by Anna’s parents, they did a brilliant job of organising the day with lots of very British features – (including the rainy weather-which didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!) After the service everyone hopped onto a vintage bus en route to the bluebell railway! It was a real experience for all the guests to enjoy the steam train ride to Horsted Keynes station where they had a marquee in the field next to the station. At the marquee everyone sat down to a delicious hog roast followed by a little more train spotting then afternoon tea! They broke from tradition and Anna’s Mum and Anna gave two really lovely speeches. After the first dance Anna’s brother in law’s band played and I left whilst everyone was dancing away! Thank you for having me to photograph your beautiful day xx
